About South Coast Movement

What is Exercise Physiology?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) provide exercise and lifestyle modification programs for people with both acute and chronic conditions. AEPs have broad knowledge, skills and experience in clinical exercise delivery and health-behavior modification advice for people with both acute injuries and chronic conditions, allowing them to assess, plan and implement individualised and specific exercise programs to manage and prevent illness and injury. AEPs use evidence based knowledge to create programs to assist with rehabilitation but also reduce the risk of injury or disease before it begins. We believe “exercise is medicine” and it can make everyone feel better both physically and mentally.
